New Book, New Blog:
So I read another book ... it's called noughts and crosses, by malorie blackman.k
I really don't know what the book is about, what I know is that there are two kinds of people, the noughts and the crosses. The crosses are favored and get better jobs and a better education than the noughts do.
In the beginning of the book Meggie who is a nought and the mother of Callum works for the Hadleys, but for no reason she gets fired. The Hadleys are crosses and they have a daughter named Sephy. Sephy and Callum are friends even though she us a cross and he is a nought.
Three years later they are still friends, but Callum has to be taught from Sephy so he can handle the new school he likes to attend, which is a school only for crosses.
Now Callum is sixteen and Sephy is fourteen, just real teenagers! Callum asks Sephy if he could kiss her and she has nothing to say against it, so they just try.
First Sephy is disgusted, but then she really enjoys the kiss. The friendship between the two of them is very special and Callum asks Sephy if she ever thought of running away from the system of noughts and crosses, but she denies.
And Callum realizes that there is no point in running away since the system's everywhere they could go.
Sephy would really appreciate it if Callum is put in her class, but Callum thinks this is unfair since he is older than her.
So Sephy reminds him that this is a school of Crosses so it is much more difficult than the school Callum was used to and she is a little bit offended.
But back to the reason why Callum came to Sephy: Learning.
He really wants to learn more maths, since he thinks it's the languages which everybody can understand.
Sephy on the other side thinks it is boring, but she explains it to him.
I really think that you know from the beginning that Sephy and Callum has to fall in love with each other since it is impossible for them. I think I really like this book since my favourite genre is fantasy! I hope I can enjoy the book longer.
